Statement of Faith

We believe that the whole of Scripture (the Tanakh, “Old Testament,” and the New Covenant Scriptures, “New Testament,” together) is the true, Perfect Word of God—that, from Genesis to Revelation, it is sufficient, supreme, complete, objective, without error, solely authoritative and fully trustworthy.

Matthew 5:17-18; Matthew 22:29; Luke 24:32; John 10:35; Acts 18:28; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 3:16

We believe in the One (אחד) True God, יהוהAdonai—the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel—perfect and holy; Maker of all; revealed in Creation; who was, and is, and is to come. We believe that the Father is known only through the Son—Yeshua the Messiah, the Word of God who became flesh—and that we are enlightened to His truth by the Ruach HaQodesh (Holy Spirit) of God.

Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Kings 18:36; Matthew 11:27; John 1:1, 14; John 16:13; Romans 1:20; Revelation 4:8

We believe that God made man in His own image for His glory, but that man is separated from God by his sin, and, apart from God’s unmerited favor, is incapable of turning to Him and being saved. Because of this, God chose and set apart Israel—the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: the Jewish people—to be a blessing and a kingdom of ko’haniym (priests) to all the families of the earth for the sake of their reconciliation to the Creator.

Genesis 1:27; Genesis 12:3; Exodus 19:6; Isaiah 42:6, 49:6; Isaiah 59:2; John 6:44; Ephesians 2:8

We believe that the Jewish people—including Jews who follow Yeshua as Messiah—remain God’s uniquely treasured people Israel, and that He continues to keep His covenants with them today. It is from Israel, as promised in those covenants, that the Father brought forth the one Mediator between God and man, the Master Yeshua the Messiah—being sinless, fully human, yet also fully God—who saves man from sin and death, redeeming him from a literal hell of eternal punishment and everlasting destruction, by way of His own death and resurrection. Through faith in Yeshua, all may be brought near to God—man or woman, Jew or Gentile—and the narrow gate to salvation (ישועה, yeshuah) is opened for anyone who believes in His Name.

Genesis 17:7; Deuteronomy 7:6; Matthew 7:13-14; Matthew 25:46; Romans 4:11; Romans 5:17; Romans 6:3; Romans 9:4-5; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:17; Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:13; Colossians 2:9; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 Peter 1:3-4; 1 Peter 2:9; Hebrews 9:8

We believe that by the power of the Ruach HaQodesh, through the proclamation of the Good News of Yeshua, that man’s heart is renewed, causing him to reform, to confess Yeshua as his Master, and to believe that God raised Him from the dead. By the same Ruach, man is led to trust in God’s loving-kindness, whereby he is born again from above, forgiven for all his sins, made right before God by faith alone, given the free gift of eternal life, and convicted and empowered to lead a life today of holy behavior and godly acts. This includes collectively building up one another within the Body of Messiah, and proclaiming Yeshua to those without.

Ezekiel 36:26; John 3:3; John 3:16; Romans 1:17; Romans 2:4; Romans 5:5; Romans 5:19; Romans 6:22; Romans 10:9-10; Romans 10:14; Colossians 1:14; 1 Thessalonians 1:5; 1 Thessalonians 5:11; Titus 2:14; 2 Peter 3:11-12, Hebrews 10:24-25

We believe in the coming salvation of all Israel which will usher in the physical return of Yeshua, the resurrection of the dead, the judgment of all mankind, the new heaven and new earth, and the end of the age, when the righteous in Yeshua will praise and glorify God in His very presence forever.

Psalm 140:13; Zechariah 14:4; Matthew 13:49-50; Matthew 23:39; Romans 11:15; Romans 11:26; 2 Timothy 4:1; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 7:12; Revelation 21:1; Revelation 22:5

Mission Statement

To equip and disciple both Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua to bear the standard of Scripture by applying the whole Word of God practically, by the Spirit, and in the fullness of Messiah.

Vision Statement

To challenge, exhort and teach believers in Messiah to elevate and uphold the entire Scriptures as their sole, supreme, sufficient, objective and authoritative guide for living a holy and godly life. Using both the most recent technologies as well as traditional communication methods, Perfect Word therefore seeks to:

  • Publish resources and teachings from a Messianic Jewish perspective that promote Yeshua-centric individual, family and community standards and values that are rooted in the Scriptures;
  • Expose and confront doctrines, teachings, beliefs and influences that are contrary and hostile to the Scriptures, and dangerous to the faith of the believer;
  • Facilitate and advance the prophetic restoration of all Jewish people to their unique identity, calling and purpose as Israel—in the Messiah Yeshua, according to the Scriptures;
  • Provide oversight, counsel, guidance, accountability and practical support to Called-Forth-communities that gather in messianic congregations or in homes; and
  • Work together with other Messianic ministries and leaders who share the mutual goal of equipping the Body of Messiah.
